The result of a joint effort, midweek fish in pretty average conditions. Still a lot of fun despite travelling 9 hours in total to fish for 4 hours

Was able to sneak out for an island session. Unfortunately the lost all of the good fish I hooked, but still got some fish to the boat.

It has been almost a year since my last session, due to work and family commitments. We finally got out for a session and getting caught in a storm destroyed any chance of a decent session. We still made do with what we could work with, getting numerous island flats fish, including this little g on fly.

A solid Queenie out from Townsville high speed jigging on a halco metal, a few good jumps a pic and it swam off nicely.

Found some old pics of one of my favourite types of fishing. Night time topwater Gs around jetties. Locked drags resulting in either bust offs or success. I definitely lost more fish than I landed, Ultimate tug of war.
A lot of fun!!

PB Geet off the top on my first solo trip after surgery. Was a struggle to boat solo. Pictures are terrible too but importantly he swam off strong.
