The new Play On! Sports Vouchers round is now open for the new financial year! 🏓

Applications opened on 27 July, and eligible Queensland children aged 5 to 17 can apply for a $200 voucher to help cover the cost of participating in sport.

At Townsville Table Tennis, Play On! vouchers can be used towards:
• Club membership
• Junior training programs

What a fantastic two days at the Challenge Games! 🙌🏻

We are proud to have been part of this incredible event, introducing hundreds of students to table tennis through fun, interactive activities and games.

It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces, enthusiastic participants, and students giving table tennis a go for the very first time. A huge thank you to all the Challenge Games organisers, volunteers, teachers, and students for making the event such a success.

2026 QLD Veterans Closed Championships 🏓

Some great moments from the 2026 QLD Veterans Closed Championships, held from Tuesday 14 July to Saturday 18 July at the South Pine Sports Complex, Brisbane.

It was fantastic to see a number of our Townsville members representing the club throughout the week, enjoying the opportunity to compete against players from across Queensland while sharing another great week of table tennis.

2026 Northern Stevedoring Services Rapid Fire Table Tennis Business Challenge 🏓🏆

The Townsville Table Tennis Association’s annual Business Challenge is back!

Gather a team of three from your workplace or industry and compete for the title of Townsville Business Table Tennis Champions for 2026. You can also enter individually, and we’ll help place you in a team.

Each player will compete in three rapid-fire singles matches per team event, with multiple team events held throughout the evening. Equipment is available at no charge, and the café and bar will be open for food and drink purchases.

Who will be crowned Townsville’s Business Table Tennis Champions for 2026? 🏓

LOOPS Athlete Stay. What an amazing initiative - the first of its kind. Accomodation designed specifically for table tennis athletes, coaches and families travelling to Melbourne.

A special mention also goes to Alan Walsh, who was part of the Queensland coaching team throughout the championships, providing coaching and support across team events, doubles and singles.

BRONZE AT THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS! 🥉

Congratulations to Taleisha Gaeta and Tiffany Lam (QLD) on winning the Bronze Medal in the U21 Women’s Doubles at the 2026 TTA National Senior, Youth & Para Championships in Goulburn!

With this result, Taleisha wraps up a fantastic National Championships campaign, bringing home a Silver Medal in the U19 Girls' Teams event and a Bronze Medal in the U21 Women’s Doubles.

A fantastic achievement at the national level and a well-deserved reward for all the hard work, dedication and commitment she has put into her table tennis.

Congratulations to the entire Queensland team on a fantastic Nationals! 👏🏻
