Some great photos have come through from members and friends of Townsville Table Tennis who recently travelled to South Korea to compete in the ITTF World Masters Championships Gangneung 2026, held from 5β12 June π
The event attracted more than 4,000 participants from around 100 countries and regions, with players competing across singles, doubles and mixed doubles events.

After one week of high-level training in China, Taleisha Gaeta is now competing at the WTT Youth Contender in Bangkok, Thailand πΉππ
Taleishaβs group matches will include tough international opponents, including the current World Youth No. 83 from Thailand and World Youth No. 166 from Singapore.
An amazing opportunity to test herself against some of the worldβs best young players and continue gaining valuable international experience.

More than 20 Townsville Table Tennis members made the trip to Mackay over the weekend to compete at the 2026 Mackay Open Championships.
A huge congratulations to all of our players who represented the club so well, and especially to those who brought home podium finishes ππ»
Great to see such a strong Townsville presence across the tournament, with players of all ages and levels getting involved, competing hard and supporting each other throughout the weekend.
A few members are missing from this photo, but we loved seeing so many of our players there representing the club π―
