Momentum Gymnastics

The recent NQ Regional Championships marks the end of the NQ competition season.

This season wasn’t just about Trophies and medals (which there were plenty). It was about courage. About showing up when things felt hard. About trusting the process, celebrating the little wins, learning from the setbacks.

Our gymnasts achieved some incredible results this season, and we couldn’t be prouder of what they accomplished. Congratulations to all and all the best to those who have qualified for State Championships in September! See links below to access all competition results. What stood out even more than results has been the character they’ve shown along the way.

They cheered louder for their teammates than for themselves. They lifted each other after disappointments. They celebrated every success - big or small - and proved that true sportsmanship is measured by how you support those around you.

At Momentum we believe our club is about so much more than perfect routines. It’s about building resilience, confidence, discipline, friendships, and a belief that every challenge is an opportunity to grow.

The ups and downs, the early mornings, the long training sessions, the nerves before stepping onto the floor, and the smiles at the end of each competition have all been part of a journey that has made every one of these athletes stronger. Our scorecard for that this season is 10/10!

Gymnasts, coaches, and families: thank you for an incredible season. The results were wonderful, but the people these young kids are becoming will always be the greatest achievement.

We LOVE getting emails like this. Our recent Courage Cup was an opportunity to introduce our level 1 & 2 gymnasts to the competitive atmosphere. It was a step up from something like a showcase or a round robin event in that every gymnast got a proper score and there were no participation awards. But just because it was “competitive” doesn’t mean it wasn’t supportive. Our coaches were on the floor walking through the routines with their gymnasts, calming their nerves and most importantly making sure they all had fun! We’re so happy to hear this gymnast came away with her confidence boosted as that is what the Momentum core values are all about. Respect • Resilience • Belief • Support • Fun
