The weather has put a stop to our training session today.

Hopefully it's cleared up by Tuesday, see you next week!

Friday means Raffles! Get to the Grand Junction Hotel tonight from 5pm to kick off what looks like a wet weekend.

We also launch our Monthly Raffle tonight which will be drawn on the public holiday before the AFL Grand Final so get a ticket to get your hands on a new fridge with a slab of your choice!

The September monthly planner is now available to keep everyone up to date of our schedule for this month.

Training tonight and Saturday this week then we're back into it on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays leading into our practice match and then round 1.

The Gormandale Cricket Club is running a Blasters program this season and are seeking participants to join!

Register or get in contact with more details to come once numbers start building.

This is a big move for our Club and we want everyone to get behind us so we can really push hard and establish our junior program for now and the future.

It's our last training session for August today at Stoddart starting 11:30. Due to junior footy finals parking may be tough to come by but we'll soldier on regardless.

What a difference a few hours makes. Cut, scarify, cut again, top dress and fertilise thanks to Gav, Scam, Swanny, Dale and a special appearance from Smallwood!

Thanks to Combined Saints for continuing our good relationship and letting us jump on the wicket ahead of handover as well.

It's the Final Friday of the month and that means we give away August's prize of a huge pantry stuffer tonight along with all our regular raffle prizes!

The last few seasons has seen the Gormandale Cricket Club make an effort to catch up on getting all stats and history up to date. In doing so we have decided that there's no better time to celebrate 50 years of A Grade cricket and select the best team of all time.

Save the date for December 5th when teams in A (74/75-24/25), B (62/63-13/14) & C (74/75-24/25) Grades will all be picked as well as teams of the decades up to the 2010's. There will be an event created shortly but for now we wanted to make sure all Gormandale past players and supporters know to keep early December free.

To accompany this announcement please see the A Grade squad to be whittled down to the greatest 12 to take the field for Gormandale with B and C Grade squads to be released on another date. These players have been selected so far on the basis of making over 1000 runs, taking 100 wickets and outstanding all-round efforts in at least 4 seasons of service. A huge congratulations to those players is in order who will no doubt be proud of being named.
