The Petanque Club Launceston Tasmania alongside the Trevallyn Bowls and Community Club welcomed around 80 competitors for the The Australian Transplant Games. All states were represented with also some international teams taking place. All 18 pistes were utilised in both singles and pairs completions. Get down and have a look!

A lovely sunny day greeted our season opening club practice today. A reminder of our practice match vs Invermay next weekend in the second instalment of the kanamaluka (Tamar) cup.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of club legend & life member - Bob Withers. 1933 - 2026.
Bob commenced with the Trevallyn Bowls and Community Club in 1972 and stamped his name on the club in every facet of the game.
Bob was a multiple State and Northern pennant winner and accumulated too many club championships to mention..
He went on to become club president, greenkeeper, selector and life member.
The back green is named the 'Bob Withers Green' in his honour.
Bob is pictured below when being acknowledged by Bowls Australia for his fifty years' service to the sport of bowls and the club in 2022.
Condolences to his family.
