Congratulations Tom Ballantyne ๐Ÿ‘โšฝ๏ธ

Everyone at The Cove FC would like to congratulate former Head Coach and Technical Director Tom Ballantyne on his appointment as Head Coach of Supreme Shatin FC in the Hong Kong Premier League.

Tom spent a number of successful years at Cove, making a significant contribution to our senior football program and the development of players and coaches across the club.

More recently, Tom has enjoyed tremendous success with Devonport Strikers in Tasmania, winning multiple league and cup titles across both the menโ€™s and womenโ€™s programs.

His move to Hong Kong and an opportunity to coach at the highest level of football in the country is another fantastic step in his coaching career.

Weโ€™re incredibly pleased to see a former Cove coach continuing to progress and wish Tom and his family every success with this exciting new chapter.

Congratulations Tom everyone at Cove will be following your journey! ๐Ÿ’™โšฝ๏ธ

Callum began his football journey at Cove, spending seven years in our junior system from 2013โ€“2020, before continuing his later junior development with Cumberland, then returning to Cove in 2023, where he played U18s and Reserves and was named the ๐”๐Ÿ๐Ÿ– ๐๐ฅ๐š๐ฒ๐ž๐ซ๐ฌโ€™ ๐๐ฅ๐š๐ฒ๐ž๐ซ.

Callumโ€™s connection to Cove runs even deeper. ๐‚ ๐‹๐ข๐Ÿ๐ž ๐Œ๐ž๐ฆ๐›๐ž๐ซ, having spent 12 years playing and coaching at the club.
