SLAM FACTORY | IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

Until this week, we genuinely believed we had secured Slam Factory’s future. We are devastated to now be sharing this news.

At this stage, Saturday 17/10 and Sunday 18/10 are set to be the final weekend that this 25-year-old skatepark will be open.

The building we lease is being put up for sale, and unfortunately we have been unable to secure a new lease that would allow Slam to continue here.

There is still one possibility to explore.

If the building is purchased by someone willing to retain it as a skatepark, there may be a way for the facility to continue operating.

We’re holding a short online information meeting for anyone genuinely interested and with the means to purchase the commercial property, either individually or as part of a group.

Saturday 17/10 · 7 pm AEDT
For an invitation, please email:
[email protected]

This is an initial discussion about a possible property purchase. We are not asking for donations or collecting money.

If you know someone who could help make this possible, please pass this on.

In the meantime, come in for a ride this weekend and make some more lasting memories. Visit slamfactory.com.au and select Book a Session for times and bookings. Sunday sessions may be extended if we book out. We’ll confirm any additional times separately.

To everyone who has ridden, worked, competed, learned and found friendships here over the past 25 years, thank you. Slam has been so much more than ramps and a building. It has been a place to belong.

We’re deeply grateful to have been part of its story, and we haven’t given up on the possibility of another chapter.
