2025 King’s Cup on the Gold Coast is now underway…
ACT Underwater Hockey is back for 2024!
Underwater Hockey is a fast moving, non-contact, mixed-gender team sport. Involving six players a side, with four substitutes, it is played with mask, snorkel and fins. Players advance, flick or pass a weighted puck along the bottom of a pool, usually at a depth of 2+ metres, with the aim of scoring in each others goal trays.
Game strategy is similar to many other team sports such as soccer and field hockey, except for the 3rd dimension of playing underwater. An excellent, fast moving and breathless game – plus an excellent way to get fit.
Players of all ages and levels are welcome to come and play.
Weekly games are played on Thursdays between 8-9pm at the Lakeside Aquatic Centre, Athllon Dr & Anketell St, Greenway, Tuggeranong, ACT 2900.
We can provide all gear, so flick us a message and give it a go!
