🔴🔵 Life Membership Announcement 🔵🔴
On Saturday night, we welcomed our 2nd Life Member inductee of the night and here is the presentation.
Tonight we proudly welcomed our second Life Member of the evening, Jayden “Kevo” “Chicken” Moore.
Like many greats of our club, Jayden’s journey began as a junior, pulling on the red and blue for the first time in the Under 12s. From the very beginning, his talent and competitive spirit stood out, and it quickly became clear he was destined to make his mark.
Progressing through the ranks, Jayden earned everything that came his way. Nothing was handed to him, and that determination became a defining part of his career.
Across both junior and senior cricket, success followed. Multiple premierships highlight his impact, with the 2005/06 Luscombe Shield season standing out, where he played a key role with the ball in both the semi-final and grand final.
His record speaks for itself. As the club’s leading wicket-taker with over 500 wickets at an average below 18, Jayden has set a remarkable standard. His best figures of 8 for 68 remain one of the club’s standout performances. With the bat, he was just as capable, producing crucial innings time and time again, with multiple centuries and countless fifties.
A five-time Cyril Mine Club Champion, Jayden sits comfortably among the best players our club has produced.
But beyond the numbers, it’s what he represents that defines him.
A fierce competitor, a loyal clubman, and someone who always put the team first. Whether it was long spells into the wind or stepping up in big moments, he consistently did what was needed.
Like all great contributors, he brought passion in every sense of the word, and while not always perfect, his commitment to the club and its success has never been questioned.
Starting as a junior and going on to play over 250 games is a rare achievement. Even during time away, his connection to Gladstone Park has always remained strong.
Life Membership is about more than statistics, it’s about legacy, and Jayden’s legacy is firmly cemented in the history of our club.
Congratulations Jayden “Kevo” “Chicken” Moore on becoming a Life Member of Gladstone Park Cricket Club. A truly deserved honour ❤️💙

🔴🔵 Life Membership Announcement 🔵🔴
For those that missed the presentation this weekend, here is the kind words presented for 1 of our newest life members!
From Under 10s junior to club great, Saturday night we proudly welcomed one of our newest Life Members of Gladstone Park Cricket Club, Dillon Perera.
Dillon’s journey reflects everything our club stands for. With over 250 games, more than 4,000 runs and nearly 50 wickets, he has built an outstanding playing career, highlighted by multiple premierships, two club batting averages and an association batting average in the Vic Kyte Shield.
As impressive as those achievements are, they only tell part of the story.
Dillon’s impact goes far beyond the field. As a junior coach, he has played a major role in developing young players, helping them grow in skill, confidence and love for the game. As a committee member, he has contributed tirelessly behind the scenes, helping strengthen and guide the club.
What truly makes Dillon deserving of Life Membership is the way he has carried himself throughout, with integrity, humility and a genuine passion for Gladstone Park.
Clubs are built on people like Dillon. Those who start as juniors, grow into leaders and give back more than they take, leaving a lasting legacy.
Congratulations, Dillon Perera on becoming a Life Member of Gladstone Park Cricket Club. A richly deserved honour ❤️💙
