Killarney Vale Bombers, Australian Football Club The Club participates in senior football within the Black Diamond AFL (BDAFL); as well as junior football within the AFL Hunter Central Coast.

The Killarney Vale Bombers AFC is situated in the Central Coast region of New South Wales, Australia - it's home ground and clubrooms are located at Adelaide Street Oval, Tumbi Umbi. BDAFL Senior Grades include:
Premier Division (Firsts) and First Division (Reserves)

AFL HCC Junior Grades include:
U17, U15, U13, U11 & U9 for both girls and boys. The Club also operates an AFL Auskick Centre on Thursdays from the beginning of April to the end of August; and a Community Football program for eight weeks on a Friday during Springtime.

🔴⚫ EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW — BOMBERS GRAND FINAL DAY 🔴⚫

Tomorrow, three Bombers senior teams take to Newcastle No.1 Sportsground for what promises to be a historic day for our club.

🏆 GRAND FINAL TIMES

10:50 am — Men’s Plate
12:55 pm — Women’s Cup
2:55 pm — Men’s Cup

Get there early, wear your red and black and bring your streamers, posters and signs. We want a huge Bombers presence around the ground and plenty of noise behind all three teams!

📍 VENUE

Newcastle No.1 Sportsground

Entry is $15 for adults, with children aged 16 and under free.

There is no public parking inside the venue, so please allow enough time to find nearby parking and make your way into the ground.

☀️ WEATHER

Saturday is currently forecast to be sunny and warm, reaching around 27°C. Bring a hat, sunscreen and plenty of water.

🚌 SUPPORTER BUSES

Supporter buses will leave Envisage Property Oval at:

• 8:00 am - Men's Plate
• 9:00 am - Men's Cup
• 9:30 am - Women's Cup

Please arrive early and be ready to board before your departure time.

The supporter bus will leave Newcastle after the Men’s Cup presentation and is expected back at the club at approximately 7:00 pm.

🏟️ AT THE GROUND

• Canteen and toilets are located on the grandstand side.
• Bars will operate on the grandstand side and grass hill.
• Strictly no BYO alcohol may be brought into the venue.
• Spectators may enter the field during breaks, but alcohol is not permitted on the playing surface.
• Juniors and supporters are encouraged to help form the guard of honour for each team’s run-through.

🎉 BACK AT THE BOMBERS

The celebrations will continue at Envisage Property Oval from approximately 7:00 pm.

Our three playing groups are expected back between 7:30 pm and 8:00 pm, when they will be welcomed into the clubhouse.

Pizza will be provided, with $5 beers, $8 spirits and the bar open until 1:00 am.

This is a massive day for the Bombers. Support loudly, respect our opponents, officials and volunteers, and help us represent the club with pride from the first bounce until the teams arrive home.

Join us at Envisage Property Oval from 5:30pm tonight for our Grand Final open training session.

Come down and watch our three Grand Final teams prepare for Saturday, with a free sausage sizzle, banner making and kick-to-kick for the kids.

Our junior Bombers Buddies will also have the chance to meet their selected senior player and have a photo together.

The clubhouse will be open throughout the evening, where you can:

Collect your Grand Final shirts
Book your place on a supporter bus
Stay for the Grand Final team announcements
Have a drink from the bar and enjoy the vibes


Let’s get plenty of red and black around the oval and create a great Bombers atmosphere for our players ahead of a historic Grand Final Day.

What a season it has been!

A huge congratulations to our three teams who earned their spot in the Grand Final on Sunday. You’ve played strong all season, shown incredible commitment, worked hard, and earned your place on that field.

Unfortunately, it wasn’t your day, and while the result may not have been what you hoped for, being a Runner Up Finalist is an achievement you should be incredibly proud of. ❤️

A Grand Final appearance is something to celebrate, and we hope you take a moment to reflect on just how far you’ve come and everything you’ve achieved along the way.

To all our players, we are incredibly proud of each and every one of you. You represented yourselves, your teammates and our club with determination, heart and sportsmanship throughout the entire season.

To our coaches, managers, families and supporters — thank you for the commitment, encouragement and countless hours you put in to make seasons like this possible. 🙌🏼

“I’m super proud of the boys for making it this far into the season. Considering we are a team that should be in a 13’s comp. To make it to a Grand Final in a 14’s comp is a HUGE achievement and they should all be extremely proud of themselves. 1 MORE GAME.”

As Captain of the Under 12 Bombers squad, I am so proud of every single one of us this year who have helped make this dream happen. What a fantastic day at Adelaide St for Week 1 of Junior Finals! 🏆

A massive thank you to all of the players, coaches, managers, volunteers, officials and spectators who helped make today such a success.

A very special shout out to our amazing senior players who gave up their own day to come down and support our juniors. From helping on the BBQ and canteen, running the scoreboard, and taking on Ground Manager duties, setting and packing up the day, your support and willingness to give back to the club was absolutely outstanding. 👏❤️🖤

We also want to acknowledge all teams and spectators for their phenomenal behaviour throughout the day. We had ZERO incidents, and that is something all participating clubs should be incredibly proud of.

Finals can bring plenty of emotion and pressure, but today, everyone showed what footy is all about — respect, sportsmanship, teamwork and community.

To everyone who played a part in making week 1 run so smoothly… THANK YOU! 🙌

Good luck to our teams who will be playing in round 1 of finals tomorrow.

Get behind our teams and give them some cheer whether it's down the road at the Hangar or taking a drive up the freeway to Cardiff.

Our U12 boys get a week off and will head into their finals next Sunday
