Master Courses with Claudio Gomes RioZouk

Founded by Claudio Gomes and Monica Leite who pioneered the Zouk scene in Sydney from it's roots, RioZouk was sometimes referred to as the "Temple of Zouk" in Sydney. It operated at Step Up studios in 160 Castlereagh st between July 2005 and August 2014.

With the closure of RioZouk, the business partnership between Claudio Gomes & Marek Pionka (owner of Step Up) finished and the copyright Rio Zouk name in Australia remained with Marek.

Claudio Gomes & Monica Leite are still active in the Zouk social scene. If you want to connect with them just send them a message on Facebook.

RioZouk taught over 2,500 students and formed over 30 teachers, many of which are still dancing and teaching in prominent social dance schools in Sydney such as: Latin Dance Australia (Amit), Latin Motion (Brad), Salsa Republic (Robert), Zouk Ink (Heidi).
