He has a certificate IV in Fitness, a Group Exercise Instructor certificate and a Level 2 Intermediate Recreational Running Accredited Athletics Coach, certified by Athletics Australia. Improving health and fitness, cardio and resistance training, rehabilitation and sports specific training are all services Damian offers. Damian continues to increase his understanding of the human body; believing
if you teach someone to use their mind more efficiently, their body can accomplish anything. He sees the importance in listening to the needs of his clients, being able to adapt and tailoring and designing a personalised fitness program to suit each individual. In 2012, Damian entered the ‘Olympic Challenge’, held at Golds Gym Surry Hills where he won first place in the Personal Trainers category and received the prize for overall winner of all categories. The following year, he and five others came 2nd place in the mixed teams category at the Wild Endurance 100km event in the Blue Mountains. Damian’s competitive nature drove him to compete in the gruelling 100km the consecutive year; bringing home 2nd place in the men's team category and 3rd team overall. He has trained individuals for City2Surf, Sydney Running Festival and various half marathons, as well as teams for Wild Endurance 100km and obstacle events including Spartan, Tough Mudder, RAW, TrueGrit and Tough Bloke Challenge to name a few. Damian has taught group classes for over a decade in boxing, outdoor bootcamps, running and suspension training.
