This Saturday we continue our end-of-term Specialty Workshop Series at Dance Mambo — a space to slow things down, go deeper, and really understand the why behind your dancing 🧠✨

Roots & Rhythm explores the Afro-Cuban and rumba influences that live inside salsa music and movement 🥁🎶

In this 2-hour workshop we’ll explore:
✨ Musicality, rhythm & texture in salsa music
✨ Intro to Afro-Cuban and Rumba movement
✨ Simple variations and how to apply them into your salsa dancing

🔬 FOCUS LAB: The Artistry of Mambo

🏆 10x World Salsa Champion Mario Acosta brings his theatre-influenced approach to movement and mambo to us for this special 4-week series.

This is not about learning new steps, it’s about transforming the ones you already know ✨

Through Mario’s method, you’ll work on:
• Cleaner lines and body design
• Texture and movement quality
• Expression and theatrical intention
• Musical interpretation and dynamics 🎶
