🏉 DOCKERS CUP 2026 🏉

What an incredible four weeks it has been!

The 2026 Dockers Cup brought together 9 schools, 9 teams and more than 130 participants for another fantastic season at the Marist College Twin Ovals. Now in its 19th year, the Dockers Cup continues to provide a valuable football pathway for young boys across the Burnie / Somerset region, giving participants the opportunity to develop their skills, build friendships and enjoy the game in a fun and supportive environment.

Despite a handful of students missing the final round due to the rescheduled finish and other sporting commitments, the energy and enthusiasm never slowed. The support from parents, guardians, families, schools and friends lining the boundary each week showcased exactly what community football is all about.

A huge thank you goes to Logan Elphinstone, who has coordinated the program for the third consecutive year. Logan's passion, commitment and organisation continue to make the Dockers Cup a success year after year.

We would also like to thank the Burnie Dockers Football Club and their senior players, who generously gave up their time each week to umpire games, help with set up and pack up, and support the participants throughout the competition.

Most importantly, thank you to every student, school and family across the Burnie region who continues to embrace and support this competition. Your enthusiasm and involvement ensure the Dockers Cup remains a vital stepping stone in the football journey of so many young players and continues to thrive nearly two decades on.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of the Dockers Cup story so far. We can't wait to celebrate 20 years with you all in 2027 - it's going to he HUGE! ⚓
