It was a massive and successful weekend of hockey with all four ISCH teams qualifying for semi finals. Well done to men’s ISCH-1 on bringing home the silver medal 🥈
We give our thanks to Garry Bull and his team at the Illawarra Hockey Centre for their massive contribution across the weekend. With particular thanks to Wayne Billett, Dave Sharp & Paul van Eimeren for the countless hours given. 🙏

📣 Volunteers Needed - Div 1 Opens FSC 📣

This weekend, Illawarra Hockey Inc and Illawarra South Coast Hockey are co-hosting the Opens Div 1 State Championships at Illawarra Hockey Centre.

To ensure the event runs smoothly, we are in need of volunteers to help across the weekend.

Members & Friends of Illawarra South Coast Hockey, it is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Elaine Moane. Our thoughts are with her family at this time. ❤️

In the early hours of the morning of 3 May 2026 our grandmother Elaine Moane gained her angel wings. She passed away peacefully surrounded by family.

Elaine has been involved in hockey 🏑 for longer than we can remember and will ever know. She was a true pioneer of growing hockey for not only women but for Berkeley Hockey Club (later Lakeview Hockey Club) and the Illawarra too. Her dedication to the sport and hockey community was unwavering and will be difficult to be matched.

For now we the family remember their nan, great nan, aunty, friend and hockey champion with full hearts and much love for a woman that was truly amazing. ❤️

Funeral details: 12pm on Tuesday 12 May at H Parsons Dapto.
