The Fairytale Continues

Hazel Lockwood (aged 17 and Heart Wings’ very first sponsored female player), has been signed by one of the biggest clubs in English football history, Leeds United.

Hazel made her debut in goal for Leeds’ 1st team on Sunday, in a pre-season friendly against Women’s Championship team Sheffield United.

Previous Australian-born players to represent Leeds include Mark Viduka and Harry Kewell.

We will be watching Hazel throughout the upcoming 2024/25 season and wish her and her team mates every success.

We take young players out of their environment and surround them with the purity of nature. The process naturally lifts their energy and increases their ability to understand the importance of mental development alongside physical training.
