Weekend wrap up

Well, Excalibur Racing finally got to hit the water at the MRSBC Mildura event in the X100 — and what a weekend it was! 🏁🔥

Chris was behind the wheel, starting on the outside all weekend, and kicked things off Friday with hot laps and Heat 1 to get a feel for what the boat and engine could do.

Saturday saw two more heats, with a strong 2nd place finish in one, ending the day 7th overall out of 14 boats. 💪

Then came Sunday — still starting out wide, Chris set his sights on beating the field to that first corner… and he did just that! The boat showed it’s got the speed to mix it with the best, leading into the first turn and proving the package is right there.

Now it’s all about putting in more laps and fine-tuning this little rocket through the corners.

A huge thank you to Brett at BNR Engines for giving Excalibur Racing a boat that’s already putting smiles on our faces — and will be at the pointy end very soon.

Chris couldn’t wipe the grin off after each race (even after breaking out in one with a 95.6 mph run in a 95 mph class!) 😅

Well today is the day we hit the water for some practice.

The team made it safe and well too the track.

We are super EXCITED to have Harry Hoggy (AKA Pete) back on radios this weekend. Harry was our number one radio man for our car racing days.

AFTER TWO YEARS!! The boat finally hit the water today and what a day it was!

A few prop tests later and we’re sitting at a super consistent 93MPH.

A couple of tweaks to go before next weekend, but we couldn’t be happier with how it’s all come together! 🚤

We are posting here before it goes out on other platforms.

We are keeping the boat as we have some plans for it but not saying to much yet but a V8 is going in.

So here is the list of everything that is for sale we would like to sell it as a package if possible.
