How have my fellow school mums been coping with school holidays?
I’m not going to lie, I’m ready to get back to our regular routine so I can catch a break πŸ˜‚

We’ve had an overwhelmingly full schedule. Plus the kids have been stuck inside a lot with this rainy weather, demanding a ridiculous amount of snacks and asking me to entertain them more than I have the capacity to do. Being home more has also meant that sibling squabbling has increased dramatically and my patience has decreased just as much. I’ve had to work double time to keep my cool and this Mama is looking forward to a few moments of silence πŸ™πŸ»

But it’s also been nice to have lazy mornings in our pjs watching cartoons on the couch together. Putting on our rain jackets and exploring our local parks. Enjoying milkshake dates and shopping trips.
And there’s been some really beautiful moments when all 3 kids are playing wonderfully together and my heart feels so full it could burst πŸ’₯

So I guess it’s all about balance πŸ™ŒπŸ»
Balance and maybe some more quality time spent at Nan’s house πŸ˜‚

So if I’ve missed your message or emails, if I haven’t posted in a few days, it’s because my entire existence is currently occupied by 3 small humans and I’m just trying to survive πŸ™πŸ»

I love that we always end our term with at least one Mum becoming a Backcarry Graduate! πŸ‘©πŸ»β€πŸŽ“

A very big congratulations to Amy πŸ₯³

When many of our mums start Kangatraining, they often know how to use their carrier. But slowly over the term, with fit checks, tweaks and explanations every week, it all starts to make sense. And before long they’re mastering these more advanced skills and ready to take on the world πŸ’ͺ🏼

Kangatraining isn’t just about fitness, friendships and bonding with your baby. It’s also about learning new skills. It’s about walking away at the end of the term feeling confident and comfortable with your babywearing abilities πŸ™ŒπŸ»

🌧️✨ Our final Thursday Kanga class for the term is done and dusted! ✨🌧️

It may have been a dark, cold and rainy morning outside, but inside the vibes were absolutely on point. There was dancing, laughter, chatting and all the things that make Thursday mornings so special.

Today we also said goodbye to a few of our beautiful Kanga Mums as they move on to new adventures. Some have been with us for a term, some for much longer, but every single one of them has become part of our little community and we are going to miss seeing their smiling faces each week.

Kangatraining is so much more than just an exercise class. It's a place where mums can move their bodies safely, bond with their babies, build confidence, connect with others who truly understand this season of life, and most importantly, have some fun along the way.

Thank you to all of our incredible mums for making this term what it was. Watching friendships form, seeing confidence grow and being part of your village is such a privilege. ❀️

To those heading back to work or onto new adventures, remember, once a Kanga Mum, always a Kanga Mum. You'll always have a place in our community and we'd love to see you back whenever you can.
Bring on next term and all the new faces and friendships still to come! πŸ’ƒπŸ‘ΆπŸ’•

And just like that, our last Monday Kangatraining class for the term is done πŸ’–

We had a smaller group today with a few mums and little ones away unwell, but that certainly didn't stop us from having plenty of laughs, dancing our hearts out and enjoying some time together.

One of my favourite things at the end of a term is taking a moment to reflect on how far our mums have come.
I think back to those first classes where many arrived feeling a little unsure, maybe a little nervous and not quite confident in themselves or their dance moves. Fast forward to today and they were absolutely nailing their choreos and dancing like they were living their best lives! πŸ’ƒ

And it's not just the dancing. Watching their babywearing journeys evolve has been so special too. From learning how to put their carriers on for the very first time, to helping each other adjust settings, troubleshoot fit checks and even master new skills like back carrying, the growth in confidence has been incredible to witness.
It's pretty amazing what can happen when mums are given a safe space to move, connect and support one another.

Thank you to every one of our Monday Kanga mums for allowing me to be part of your journey this term. I am so proud of each and every one of you and I can't wait to see where your next adventures take you 😘

Because Kanga has never just been about exercise. It's about confidence, community and finding your village.

As someone who has had the pleasure of caring for a couple adorable twin Joeys, I had a first hand crash course in how challenging it could be to find an activity I could manage with the both of them (Don't even get me started on the logistics of swimming lessons!!) And finding time for myself? Impossible! Trying to find a babysitter for TWO babies seems to be 10x as hard as getting a babysitter for one.

But at Kangatraining, it doesn't seem as hard, especially when you have plenty of helping hands to cuddle a baby while you change another's nappy, or entertain them while you duck to the bathroom.

Don't get me wrong, I know how overwhelming it can feel to leave the house with 2 little ones, especially going somewhere on a time schedule! But I promise you, you can do it. You have an entire support team waiting for you, you just have to make it here πŸ’ͺ🏼

The great thing about Kangatraining is that it's a class for MUMS run by MUMS! We get it, we've all been through it and we're all happy to chip in and help out where we can.

Interested but not sure how to make it work?
Well, although you won't be able to carry both bubs at the same time, you can;

πŸ’• Snuggle one baby in the carrier while the other plays on a playmat or naps in the pram.
πŸ’• Alternate bubs in and out of the carrier as needed.
πŸ’• Join us at KangaMix or our Stroll and Sip outdoor groups and pop both little ones into your pram for an outdoor adventure.
πŸ’• Convince a toddler wearing KangaMum in class to set her toddler free and snuggle your other bub instead (much easier than you might think!, especially when your Kangatrainer is usually baby free in most classes and always up for baby snuggles πŸ˜‰)
πŸ’• Bring along a friend or family member for FREE to carry your other baby.

Being a parent of multiples is hard, but that doesn’t mean it’s impossible. It means choosing a village that is going to work with and support you, just like Kangatraining πŸ™ŒπŸ»
