B GRADE: 🥇 Wayne King's Dockers (WK, Jamie MIles (reserve) & Raina Emerson) defeated 🥈 Elisa Chung's Jet Setters (EC, Meredith McDonald & Brandon Trama) 6 matches to 4

Our roof renovation is complete, thanks to the grant funding we received from Veolia Mulwaree Trust.
Players have already noticed an increase in the comfort factor whilst playing during the recent cold snap we have had in Goulburn. Summer temperatures in the shed should be more agreeable too now. 😃
Before and after photos below show the extent of the new ceiling lining that has been professionally installed - the painting of such was undertaken by club members during several working bees prior to the installation.

Congratulations to the teams playing in the Grand Final of our 2023 Autumn Club Competition last night....

The A Grade 🥇 winners were The Eighty Eights (team members as per the photo - Brett Luckie, Mark Soley (C) and Harry Mavrolefterou) defeated the Eagles (Chintan Trivedi, Isaac Mafrolefterou & Dave Manning) 6 matches to 4.

The B Grade 🥇 winners were The Demons who defeated the Pies 6 matches to 3. The Demons team of Mark Burke, Shannon Trama and Kevin Fitzgerald only lost 1 match the whole competition. Thanks go to Elisa, Bob and Dave for filling in in the B Grade GF for those players who were not available.

Last night was Grand Final night for our 2023 Summer 🏓Club Competition. There were some closely fought matches throughout the 8 week competition with all teams being evenly matched. Congratulations to all teams and particularly those making it through to the Finals.
There can only be one team at the top of the table though and therefore the winners were.......

A Grade - The Eighty Eight's team of Marc Soley, Isaac Mavrolefterou and Dave Manning (Amiel played for Dave in the GF) defeated The Rabittoh's team of Michael Turner, Brett Luckie and Harry Mavrolefterou (Chising played for Harry in the GF) 6 rubbers to 2.

B Grade - The Jet Setter's team of Elisa Chung, Kevin Fitzgerald and Shannon Trama were too strong for The Shark's team of Peter Trama, Bob Philipson and Pauline Trama defeating them 6 rubbers to 3.

The Autumn Competitions will start on Monday 24th April and Wednesday 26th April - if you would like to play in the next comp and haven't let us know yet please get in touch on 0456 482 920.

Jamie Miles and myself attended the Veolia Mulwaree Trust Grant Presentation this morning. Glb Table Tennis were amongst many community grant recipients and we are grateful to the VM Trust for their continued support of our club.
