Maybe not the reply we all are hoping for, at least the South Australian Government remains open to exploring initiatives that align with their vision.

We just need to keep advocating and lobbying for the South Australian Government to start the conversation and to push this initiative.

Maybe it is time we start to talk to the Opposition and find allies that will push the State Government into looking into a team back in Adelaide.

The original Adelaide Rams proved there was an audience for rugby league in South Australia — their first 1997 home game attracted 27,435 people, while their 1997 average home attendance was around 15,330.

But the Rams' story also demonstrates why a future Adelaide team would need a stronger, sustainable supporter and community foundation. Their 1998 average attendance fell substantially, while the club faced on-field, financial and competition-structure challenges.

That's where The MOB can play a role.

We have a great start to signups for the Adelaide Wants Their Team Back Supporters Group "The MOB" if we can get memberships up to 100 before Oct 31st, we will put all the members names in a hat and randomly choose a name to win a voucher from Rebel Sports and a Steeden rugby league ball.

The Australian Rugby League Supporters Association want to know
For people living outside of their capital city and may have to use a system like a Starlink or similar, are you able to watch the NRL or NRLW on your TV?
If you have to rely on a system what is your opinion of the coverage of the NRL or NRLW?

A suggestion was made that all Adelaide Rugby League supporters should contact their local member about how Adelaide deserves an NRL Team.
I have prepared a directory with all of South Australia's members with their contact details.
Probably the most important member is other than the Premier is the Minister for Recreation & Sports.
But still contacting your local member is still a very good way to get the word out and start the conversation.

The Adelaide Wants Their Team Back Working Group is looking for passionate Adelaide Rugby League supporters who want to see a team back in the NRL representing South Australia and who would like to participate in a photo shoot for promotional purposes for the Adelaide Wants Their Team Back Working Group.

We want to see a group of Adelaide rugby league supporters in their Adelaide Rams or NRL club gear.

Date and time not confirmed.

We are also looking for a photographer for the promo shoot. If you are a confident reliable and have a good eye for type of photos and setting up shots, send an email with examples of your work to the email address below.

We are looking at facilitating a forum for rugby supporters originally from New South Wales (NSW) & Queensland (QLD) in November as part of The Adelaide Wants Their Team Back Working Groups forum series.

This forum is open to all NSW & QLD Expats whether you are just a NRL supporter or a referee, administrator or a volunteer you are all invited to participate in the forum.

The Adelaide Wants Their Team Back Working Group are gathering evidence and research into all facets of Adelaide wanting a Rugby League team back in Adelaide and your opinions, views and feedback from expats who are originally from the heartlands of rugby league in Australia.

Looking at holding the forum in November, no date and time has been confirmed as yet, just looking for expressions of interest as to possible numbers.
