RESULT
The CSL team capped off a brilliant season with a stunning 4–1 win home win over Hahndorf, narrowly missing out on finishing second on the ladder. A big home crowd, made up of players from our CSL, Women’s and Over 35s, thoroughly enjoyed a sun-soaked spring BBQ, and the football clinic put on by the mighty crabs 🦀 well done lads! 👏

It’s another cup round win for the Crabettes! With the score tied 2–2 at full time, the girls won with a third in extra time—yet another hat-trick for Sophie! A great example of the teamwork and sportsmanship from both Pulteney and the division 5 Westminster team. Quarter finals here we go!!

A glorious Mother’s Day today at Stadia D’Crab capped off by a resounding 5-0 victory by the Crabettes. Special mention to our very own super-mum, Erica, who did all the mums proud by scoring our fourth goal. The other two super-mums in the team, Peris Misoy and Leeza Parker, dominated the midfield and defense respectively. Goal-scorers: Sophie Edward ‘6, ‘70, ‘78, Imogen Carruthers ‘26 (pen), Erica Elliott ‘74

CUP RESULT
This team is living proof that the whole can be greater than the sum of the parts, and when that happens, outstanding results follow. Against all the odds—our micro club vs a big local club, our Div 6 team vs Div 4, our one on the bench vs five, and our intensity aimed at the ball, tempered by our calm approach vs an aggressively coached opponent—we knocked Salisbury United out of the cup with a 1–3 victory. On to the final 16. Goalscorers: Sophie Edward (2), Mary Waldron

ROUND 4 RESULT
There was very little relief from the stifling heat today, but it couldn’t stop our women’s team beating Mercedes 4–1. Goal-scorers: Kate Butcher 27’ 34’, Sophie Edward 31’ 49’

ROUND 2 RESULT
Another tough game for our Women’s team this weekend, but improvement shone through and they managed to grab a point away at Pontian Eagles with a 1–1 draw. Goalscorer: Lucy Kalfas (26’)

ROUND 1 RESULT
Tough day at the office for our Women’s team today, starting the match with no bench and ending with 9 due to injury. The Crabettes fought valiantly, but the heat took its toll, and ultimately we went down to the Angle Vale Foxes 3–1. Goalscorer: Cali Stillitano

PRE SEASON FRIENDLY
Our women’s team completed a successful trip to Salisbury Villa, an absolute 🚀 by Kate Butcher sealing the 2–1 win. Thanks to the Villa team for their great spirit, and lending us several players to help fill our temporarily depleted team. In turn we lent them our favourite Ambo when one of their players collapsed on the field. Thanks for making sure she recovered Kat!
