Pembroke Old Scholars Soccer Club

On Wednesday evening, the Pembroke Old Scholars Soccer Club faced the Pembroke School First-XI in their annual pre-season friendly. In a competitive and high-tempo match, the POSSC ran out convincing 6–1 winners.

Pembroke’s Head of Soccer, Adriano Pellegrino, said the match provided strong preparation for both sides.

“The game was intense but played in great spirits. It was a valuable hit-out for both teams as we head into our respective seasons.”

The club looks forward to welcoming members of the Class of 2026 into the Old Scholars ranks in the years ahead.

Expressions of interest for 2026 coaching positions at the Pembroke Old Scholars Soccer Club (POSSC) are now open.

POSSC will be looking to field at least 6 teams in 2026. Applications for coach of each team will be considered. Coaching experience is not necessary but will be highly regarded.

Congratulations to our Legends team who have won the 2025 CSL Division 7 title! 🏆

They had an incredible season, finishing with a record of 16 wins, 0 draws and 1 loss. They scored 103 goals and conceded only 9! 🐥

Wow! What a season it’s been! Our final game tomorrow with everybody playing at home.
Our wrap party starts officially after the 3pm games but the bbq and festivities will be going all day.
Tomorrow is a great opportunity to celebrate the season with your teammates, so get to games early or stick around for quality banter.
