When: Monday 31st January – Chinese New Year – Year of the Water Tiger
Why: According to legend, Tiger was confident that no one could compete with his speed and vigour for the celestial race that would decide the order of the zodiacs. However, when Tiger climbed out of the river, thinking he was first, he learned that Rat was placed first for its cunning and Ox placed second for its diligence. This left the Chinese king of the jungle having to settle for third place.
Hash Tigers include Pedantic, Tic Toc, TG, Krudd, Scotsman, Handshake, Wee W***y, ES**t and Lost Patrol. All came third!

Where: So Xie Xe, Music Man and Anonymous invite you to gather at 6.30 pm at the Old Manly Gasworks, top end of Stuart Street, North Head.

Training it: For those taking the train, make sure you are at Hornsby station on Platform 2 at 17:31 to take the train arriving at Hawkesbury River station at 17:55. It is important to remember that the station is Hawkesbury River station - NOT Brooklyn.
The return is 21.40 from Hawkesbury River arriving Hornsby 22.05.

The Pitch: Recommended attire for the evening includes sturdy boots for those
who are less fleet footed, a walking stick for those who are not so
stable on their feet, and two sticks for those who are completely off
their feet. Although we start in the park, this outing will not be a walk in
the park!

Parking: Brady Street or Bridgepoint Shopping Centre Car Park.

Run Description: Run & Walk to suit all heights, lengths, breadths and ages, guaranteed to give you that cardio workout you’ve been waiting a week for. Set in a true and proper Hash format.

OnOn: Don’t Miss This One! – Hotel Mosman, “The DUCK” Mozman. $15 Steaks, Schnitzel, Bangers & Mash. Seventeen b**rs on tap @ $6.50. Not recommended to taste every one!
No Dilly Bag required but make sure you bring your Mobile Phone and Torch!

HEALTH & SAFETY NOTICE: ALWAYS hydrate properly prior to a run or walk. It is recommended to drink at least 500ml of water one hour prior to the run/walk start. Running / walking during Winter runs, in the dark, on pathways, roads and bush is potentially hazardous and can cause injury. NEXT WEEKS RUN 12th November Run No 2682
Hares : Little S**t and Goonshow

Last year's Run of the Year was created by Little S**t and
Goonshow at Bantry Bay. This year's Run of the Year is at the same place (dining, of course on the immortal schnitzels at the Austrian Club), but will be brilliantly different.

Come with no preconceptions; come with well-honed muscles and your toughest runners. You may even need torches! Warning - Bring spare shoes !!!

Rippers Run Report 2nd October 2018 Run No 2676
Hello All You Smilies,

The Run : Bondi Bowling Club, Oktoberfest Theme
1 Warners Ave North Bondi

It was a Joint Run, there were a lot of joints, thats what
everyone expects with hash (didjagetit ? joints, hash); the
Larrikins, Laundromat in particular, were responsible for setting the run. There were more Posh, about 15, than Larrikins, at the run, however the Larrikins numbers doubled at the bucket !

Genuflecting informed that about 15 run these days and 30
attend the OnOn; slackos. About 13 Harriettes, wives and
partners ran too. Some of the girl joints at the joint run are
captured here, on the right is a girl called Molly.
The run was an enjoyable trot around Bondi, well-marked trail, distant memories of the City to Surf when we turned onto Campbell Parade near the finish.

The bucket was generous with delicious German b**r and w**e and hard to swallow, concentration camp pretzels. The bucket was tightly squeezed onto a normal footpath in a normal street, and served out of the boot of a german car. There was great disappointment among the boyz when the Quakers Hill Harriettes failed to show for the run

Afterbirth ran the CIRCLE at the bucket; down downs for the hares, Laundromat and a nice harriette; Kanye, also known as Mrs Slick !! and some others. (Your scribe has not yet learnt his reporting and camera duties at events, it may take another 11 months to learn)

The On On
It was Bondi Bowing Club. A wonderful old club dating back to the 1920’s. The service was great, the food was club food, salads were the only healthy meal, most lived dangerously and shortened their lives.

AFL Grand Final Report
15 posh men and partners were at Centrepoint’s Loungeville Bowlo to watch the Eagles soar.

Book Club
Remember The Colonel, he used to run with us, now he’s up there in KL and Tic Toc bumped into him on his last epic Asian Hash train traipse. Well The Colonel is now writing big Run Reports, and he has them published, calls them books and sells them !
