Senior Training will commence this Thursday, 24th September 6pm.

Our new A grade co-captain Josh is also hosting a senior cricket season launch afternoon and BBQ on Sunday 27th at 3pm. Head out to Ropehill next Sunday for a bat and a bowl followed by a cold drink and BBQ. It would be great to see all returning and new senior player there.

Good luck to the Lockyer over 50’s veterans in their Grand Final today against Ipswich.

The team includes Ropehill players Randell Reck, Phil Lindenmayer, Glen Hammant and Shane Stewart.

2025/26 Lockyer Cricket Presentation Night

While we knew the awards for A & B Grade champions were coming home with us, it was wonderful to also be awarded CLUB CHAMPION 🏆

Congratulations also to the individual winners at the Lockyer comp level.

A week on and the feats of last weekend can not be understated.

Congratulations to Rohan Janke and Joe Kluck who not only captained their respective sides to premiership wins but they are also the President (Rohan) and Vice President (Joe) of Ropehill Cricket Club. Without people like these two we do not have a club.

Thanks to everyone who supported our three senior teams last Saturday and enjoyed a great night back at Ropehill with the two Lockyer Cricket Association Senior Premiership trophies.

Thanks again to the 30 players who took the field for A grade, 22 who played for the B grade side and 20 who played for the colts. A special shut out to the three juniors; Jacob Sippel, Levi Berardo and Jim Tessier who played in the B grade sides, these kids and the other juniors are the future of our club. Thanks for taking the field this season when numbers were a bit short.

We now look forward to our presentation afternoon/evening on the 18th April where as a club we recognise the achievements of both our Juniors and Seniors.
