Most often the better option is simply to ✨change the load for a while✨

That might mean:

✔️ reducing the weight
✔️ changing the exercise
✔️ cutting back your running distance
✔️ swapping to a different type of exercise
✔️ temporarily avoiding the one thing that really aggravates it

The goal isn’t necessarily to do nothing until you’re completely pain-free...

It’s to find a level of activity your body can currently tolerate, then gradually build from there. 📈

If you have an injury that keeps interrupting your training, running, sport or everyday life, feel free to send us a message or book online with the link in bio. 😊

I know I've said "just rest it" is NOT the answer for rehab but...

Somethings genuinely DO need a bit of rest. 😬

But more often, you don’t need to stop everything... you just need to change what you’re asking your body to do for a while.

✔️Reduce the load.
✔️Change the exercise.
✔️Swap to something lower impact.
✔️Keep doing what you can tolerate.

But most importantly: for now doesn’t mean forever. 🙌🏼

The aim is to give things a chance to settle while gradually building your capacity back up to the things you actually want to do.

Sometimes rehab means doing more. Sometimes it means doing less. 💪🏼

Well… since you’re here 👀

If running and your knee haven’t been getting along lately, we should probably talk. 🏃‍♂️

If this feels suspiciously specific… link in bio to book. 🔗

Load it. Progress it. Give it time. And maybe stop poking it every 20 minutes. 🤪

8 weeks. 3 spaces. Let's finish the year strong. 💪

We're kicking off a new 8-week Strong Squad strength cycle, and we've got *3 spaces available* 🔥

So if strength training has been sitting somewhere on your "I really need to get back into that..." list, this is a pretty good time to start.

Strong Squad is structured, progressive strength training in a small, supportive group. 👯‍♀️

You get a proper program to follow.
A coach there to help.
Exercises that can be adjusted when needed.
And a group of people who'll probably notice if you don't turn up. 👀

Strong Squad is a good fit if you:

✔️ want to get stronger but don't know where to start
✔️ struggle to stay consistent training alone
✔️ want to return to strength training after an injury or time away
✔️ like being coached but don't want personal training
✔️ want training to actually feel enjoyable again

You absolutely do NOT need to already be fit or strong before joining.

We're starting the new 8-week cycle this week and only have 3 spaces available.

Send us a DM if you'd like to know more about Strong Squad or whether it would be a good fit for you. 💚

Ok maybe *angry* is a little dramatic... But there are a few things I do differently.

I don't think every injury needs you to stop training.

I don't think every asymmetry needs fixing... And no, your hips are not "out". 🙃

Most importantly, I don't believe the goal of physio is to keep you coming back forever.

I believe good physio means doing LESS...
✅ Fewer exercises
✅ Minimum effective dose of treatment
✅ Fewer appointments to meet your recovery goals
.. All while empowering you to do more for yourself, in charge of your recovery 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

Because my ultimate goal is to help you get back to doing the things you actually care about, with the confidence to manage your body along the way. ✨

Swipe through for a few of my controversial physio takes... And if you like your physio advice without the fluff, follow along for more honest convos about pain, rehab, and getting stronger. 🤓

A few spaces have opened up in our Small Group Strength classes! 💪

If you want to get stronger, feel more confident with training, and actually enjoy the people you train with, this might be your kind of place. 👯‍♀️

Think proper strength training, in a small and supportive group, without the packed class feel.

You’ll train alongside a great group of people, with a coach there to guide the session, help with technique, and adapt exercises when needed. 🏋️‍♀️

And while getting stronger is the goal, we think training should be something you actually *look forward to each week.* 😊

There's plenty of encouragement, plenty of laughs, and a really good group of people to train alongside.

Whether you’re getting back into fitness after an injury, returning to exercise after some time off, or simply wanting to build strength in a more supportive environment, we’d love to have you join us. 💚

Want to know more?

Send us a DM or comment “more info” and we’ll help you find a class that suits you. 👋
