(no mind, no thought, no reflection)

"Empty your mind of it's concepts and expectations and fall without anything to cling to into the void and you will discover what I am not saying" (Zen master Yan). Aikido is a way of developing oneself to be open to be available to embrace possibilities from all directions. The Aikidoka endeavours through training, through practice, with others in the dojo, to cultivate and embody the virtues of Bushido: Integrity, Respect, Courage, Honour, Compassion, Honesty, and Loyalty. Thereby these virtues are maintained outside the dojo, encouraging the Aikidoka to be a person with an open heart.
