Four levels of competition are available:

With the football season coming to an end, it is time for Viewbank Twilight Tennis!
Twilight Tennis is a relaxed and social way to enjoy two sets of tennis, followed by supper, plenty of laughs and the chance to meet new people. Whether you are a regular player, returning after a break or completely new to tennis, everyone is welcome. You do not need to be an expert. Just bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to have fun!
Important dates
- Grading Session 1: Thursday, 1 October, 7:00 pm. BBQ provided.
- Grading Session 2: Thursday, 8 October, 7:00 pm. BBQ provided.
- Season commencement: Thursday, 15 October, 7:00 pm.
- End-of-year celebration: Thursday, 17 December, likely from 6:30 pm.
- 2027 season commencement: Thursday, 28 January.

New players, and anyone who has not played during the past two seasons, must attend at least one grading session so we can find you a suitable team. Places are limited to 36 players, so please confirm your commitment by Thursday, 8 October. The cost is yet to be determined, but last year it was approximately $120. A big congratulations to last year's winners, The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, made up of Simon, Stewart, Ian and Harry. They will all be heavily handicapped this season to give everyone else a chance!

Come along, have a hit, enjoy some supper and meet the twilight tennis crew. We would love to welcome plenty of new players this season!

🎾 WHAT AN AFTERNOON — AO 1 POINT SLAM RECAP!

What an incredible afternoon at Viewbank Tennis Club! Our official Australian Open 1 Point Slam Community Event powered by Haier delivered every bit of drama, excitement and tension we hoped for — and then some!

And the champion? None other than our very own SUNNY VO! 🏆🎉

In a gripping final that had everyone on the edge of their seats, Sunny narrowly defeated fellow Viewbank member Long Dam to claim the title and take one giant step closer to Rod Laver Arena and the $1 million prize!

What a match. What a moment. What an afternoon. 🔥

Congratulations Sunny — you represented Viewbank brilliantly and the whole club is behind you as you continue your Australian Open 2027 journey!

And massive credit to Long Dam for an outstanding run to the final — you made us all proud too! 💛🖤

This is your chance to go from our courts all the way to Rod Laver Arena. One point decides everything!

HOW IT WORKS:

By registering for our event, you enter the draw for a chance to compete for a spot at the State Championships. Win your point, move on to the next round!

Win our event and you progress to the State Championships, one step closer to Rod Laver Arena and the $1 million prize.

The last man and last woman standing at the State Championships will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to Australian Open Opening Week to compete in the national qualifiers. From there, 4 men and 4 women State Champions will earn a place in the 1 Point Slam Main Draw.
