Starting 5th October - running for 6 weeks
4pm Mondays at Walkerston State School

🏏 Over in a flash – 60 minutes of fun each session in a safe and inclusive environment
🏏 Make pals, catch skills, throw like a boss, and teamwork like a pro!
🏏 Kids will be able to rock the colours of their favourite Big Bash heroes with their own Cricket Blast pack

Smash Series Cricket (𝗔𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝟳–𝟭𝟬)
Starting 7th October - running for 12 weeks during Term 4 and Term 1
Wednesday afternoons at Harrup Park

🏏90 Minutes of fast-paced modified cricket games
·🏏Recommended for kids aged 7-10 · For kids with basic cricket skills
🏏Every kid gets a chance to bat, bowl and field.
🏏Club shirt provided – starting kids on their club journey
🏏 All equipment supplied

On Sunday we celebrated our Annual Junior Christmas Party.

Thank you to all of the Junior Walkerston Cricket Club players and families who were able to attend.
There were over 100 in attendance which was wonderful to see.

We wish to thank Walkerston Country Meats and Seafood and Glen Kelly MP Member for Mirani for their contributions this year.

Masters Blasters Update: Wednesday 29th October 2025

The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for the Mackay area, with potential for large hailstones, damaging winds, and heavy rainfall across parts of the Central Coast and Whitsundays, Capricornia, and Central Highlands and Coalfields districts.

Severe thunderstorms are developing in a moist, unstable airmass and are expected to move towards the coast over the next few hours.

To ensure the safety of our players, parents, and coaches, Mackay Cricket Association has made the decision to cancel this afternoon’s Masters Blasters competition.
