Today, something very special and rare happened — something now etched into the history books that can never be taken away from these girls, this team, or their families.

There will be times in life when it feels like nothing is going your way, but what these girls did today is the kind of moment that, when looked back on, can lift even the heaviest hearts to the highest highs.

Our U14 girls — the very first girls team for United District Titans Basketball Club — were crowned Grand Final winners today, defeating an undefeated Eastern Mavericks side that had been the benchmark all season.

The grit and determination these girls showed, the teamwork, the ball movement, and the belief they had in each other all came together in one incredible 40-minute performance — the kind of stuff dreams are made of.

This was more than just a win.
This was belief.
This was courage.
This was history.
