Fast 4s are a four-cylinder sedan division for drivers 17 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫, with both 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐭-𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐥 𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐫-𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐥 𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐬 able to compete.
One of the great things about Fast 4s is that there are two categories, 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐝, giving competitors the choice of keeping things relatively simple or taking their car further.

A Junior Sedan doesn't necessarily have to be sold when its driver finishes Juniors.
Once a Junior reaches the eligible age for Fast 4s, 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐞𝐱𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐞𝐝𝐚𝐧 𝐦𝐚𝐲 𝐛𝐞 𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐅𝐚𝐬𝐭 4𝐬, provided the car is brought into compliance with the applicable Fast 4 specifications.
This gives Junior drivers the option of continuing with a car they're already familiar with as they make the move into senior racing.
