With only 12 Months to the Taikai in Osaka the NSW team is growing with quite of few challenging for Dan ranks and competitors preparing for this important event, training starts this coming Sunday the 26th of July, there is nothing like merging with the Australian team when the time comes and representing our country, there are still places available, please let me know if your interested in joining the team, Colin Sensei.

Special Training Sessions for students preparing for the International Taikai in Osaka Japan next Year, we will train on the last Sunday of each month, Training at Wallerawang Dojo from 10.00am till 1.00pm.

Lou would be so proud of Declan and Wilson taking their third step towards black belt, the boys proudly showed me Pop's old kick bag, sadly Lou isn't with us today however I know he would be looking down with a huge smile on his face, Lou was one of the toughest karateka I've ever had the privilege to train with, his legends status lives on and I will never forget his strong thigh kicks and him proudly showing me the lumps and bumps on his shins, who would have ever thought after 40 years that I would would have the honour of training his grand children in karate, I often say to the boys that their significant strength area are their kicks, I see that gutsy spirit come through from time to time and often smile to myself and think of Lou Zorz one the toughest Karateka I've trained with.
