Big appreciation to the legend for showing us a glimpse of what this car is capable of – even with the challenges we faced, coming away with a podium makes it all worthwhile and we wouldn’t be here without your valuable feedback and support.

Les, Geoff, Peter and Iain – you four put in an insane effort all weekend. Without you, we wouldn’t have made it past Thursday.

And of course, the biggest thanks goes to my wife Sal 🥰 – for the love, support and sacrifices that make chasing this dream possible. 💚

First test of 2025!

The Scura Motorsport Lotus is hitting the track at this weekend for its first test of the year. After a massive effort from the team since WTAC 2024, we’re back to collect valuable data and fine-tune the car for the season ahead.

Excited to kick things off and see what we can achieve in 2025! Stay tuned for updates.

Scura WTAC2024 - What could’ve been…��
Thanks for everyone’s patience while we travelled home and gathered our thoughts after WTAC 2024.

Following WTAC2023, we undertook a re-design on our oil system to ensure we could achieve our targeted engine performance after needing to set the limits about 2,000rpm short, we were confident our new solution had passed the testing and were ready for Slade to put the car through it’s paces.�

Just a month out from WTAC, we experienced some engine troubles at King of QR and had to retire the car and proceeded to complete a quick refresh of the engine. We checked some records and found that the engine was built and had been running through tuning & testing of various setups since early 2017.��

Once we arrived at SMSP, and had a couple of test laps, on Thursday it was clear the car performance was ready to meet our expectation when Tim pushed into the 1:22’s with plenty left on the table!

Unfortunately, after this we identified some anomalies from the Motec M1 and were forced to retire the car.
