A hopelessly unprofessional racing team that secretly harbours fantasies of grandeur

Sadly it not the day for the KSR team today. Early beers and a car on the trailer well before the chequered flag fell.

Great opening stint by Brett Manion in wet, slippery conditions and lots of traffic, then Jackson Manion took the lap times lower than we’ve ever done around Sydney Motorsport Park

Some rear tyre rubbing signalled and issue before the rear control arm let go.

Day done unfortunately, but thanks for Motor Events Racing for having us at yet another awesome event. We’ll patch her up and be back on track soon! 🏁

25 days until the next event with Motor Events Racing for “Fast & Furious at Sydney Motorsport Park”. The mighty Proton is prepped and 2/3 of the drivers are ready.
If you’re around on Sunday 12th July, stop by and see KSR in action.

That’s a wrap on the first event of 2026!

The weekend didn’t go to plan for KSR, with not one, but TWO surprise gremlins setting us back, but the team dug deep, patched up what we could and raced to the line in a commendable 7th overall, a result that seemed like a lottery win at the start of day 2.

Motor Events Racing put on yet another fantastic event. It was fun, well organised and brings a really good group of grassroots racers together.

One Raceway is a seriously fun place to race, a great track and we can’t wait to be back.

Thanks all that followed us over the weekend. We’ll get the Proton back to full health and ready for the next one!

The competition just gets fiercer every time we go racing. It’s been an up and down day but we keep soldiering on.

75 minutes to go on day 1.
