Last weekend was a big one at Eastern Creek for the Enduro Round 4!

We had plenty of challenges thrown at us. With Dave King unable to compete due to work and limited preparation, Steven King had to step up and take on both the main and co-driver roles solo — qualifying 5th in the main drivers and 2nd in the co drivers

Our tyre strategy meant we had to fight hard and sacrifice pace in the first three races, but it gave us great tyres for the final enduro. In the last enduro the car felt strong, and after a great pit stop, we worked our way up to a provisional 2nd place.

Thirty minutes in, Steven managed his fastest lap of the race, just before the exhaust broke and ended our race. it was awesome to finally show some real pace at the front of the field.

Huge thanks to my family, friends, the RX8 Cup crew, and all the competitors for putting on such a great event. We’ll come back stronger.

Round 4 Co driver announcement.

After decades of putting dreams on hold for family, work, and life…
on August 29th-31st David King will step in as Co Driver. finally in the driver seat after a long break. The last time Dave raced was at Oran Park in a Datsun Sports Sedan. He mainly competed in Lap Dashes and hillclimbs.

Last weekend was a huge success for us in Round 3 of the at , completing all 4 races and getting some great racing in. This was not without a battle with a slipping and awkward clutch. Thanks to everyone who made it possible and to all the supporters who came out to watch.

The engine and gearbox are back in the RX8. Our next round is June 20th and 21st at Eastern Creek

It's was a great day at Winton with the yesterday, with qualifying and Race 1 taking place. I secured 6th place in qualifying and held on to it during the race after a tough battle with Aaron Hills, finally getting ahead of him on the last lap. We are looking forward to 3 more races today.

Unfortunately this weekend didn’t go to plan, dealing with gearbox problems through Saturday and on Sunday the engine letting go. We are grateful for the people we got to meet and the help that was offered from other competitors. I still got some great racing in before the engine let go and wouldn’t of got this opportunity if it wasn’t for .place, and Ric Shaw for helping us with problems we had leading up to the event. We look forward to racing at Winton in round 2.
