Here's how the Battery World National Drivers Championship points stack up after the opening round at Yarrawonga.. Remember, it's a new points system for 2026, this year the maximum haul per round is 100-points which puts Ryan Constable's performance into perspective, but it's pretty tight between the leading three.. Great result too for Dave Satterley who used the new race format to perfection to finish on the A-MAIN podium. It's shaping up to be an interesting year!! 👊🇦🇺🏁

It's pretty well known we had a gearbox issue during our hot lap on Friday Yarrawonga Powerboat Spectacular

What people need to know is that we wouldn't have been back on the water for the weekend at all without help from some very special locals.

Glenn Spider Roberts Racing putting us in contact with Argo Engineering & Marine who provided Troy's details.
Troy at Shepp City Bearings answering the call late Friday night to open the shop and supply us with bearings to give us hope of fixing MAYHEM.

Another local legend is Craig White who didn't hesitate offering up his workshop and machines so Robert McIntyre and Wayne Robbo could work their fridgey magic and piece together a wounded V-Drive.

This is what makes powerboat racing great! and the satisfaction we all had competing in the remaining races for Round #1 Battery World National Drivers Championship was very special.
