Another local bringing some serious prototype machinery to Tailem Bend.

Gary Patel lines up in AP2 with JAM Motorsport and the Wolf GB08 Mistral and this is one seriously quick piece of kit.
Carbon-fibre chassis. Ground-effect aerodynamics. Push-rod suspension. And enough downforce to make the numbers on the spec sheet look almost ridiculous.

And Gary gets to unleash it on his local track.

MEET #7 SCOTT BORMANN

Tailem Bend is his home and Scott brings some serious machinery to his home circuit.

The Ligier JS P325 LMP3 is a genuine prototype race car built for the international endurance racing scene the same LMP3 pathway that leads to some of the biggest races in the world.

Under the bodywork sits a 3.5L twin-turbo Toyota V6 producing 470HP, while the carbon-fibre prototype tips the scales at just 950kg. Add an Xtrac 6-speed sequential gearbox and you’ve got one very serious piece of kit.

The JS P325 races internationally in the European Le Mans Series, Michelin Le Mans Cup and Road to Le Mans and they’re still seriously rare to see on Australian circuits.

A local driver. A home circuit. An international-spec prototype.

A regular in the SA State Series, Tim joins us whenever APS comes to his home track balancing his passion for racing with what matters most, time with his young family.

Phil Andrawos brings the Wolf GB08 Tornado to Tailem Bend, racing in AP2 for Andrawos Autosports.
