Massive Achievment for our U11s Brooke. 🥉

10 yrs girls high jump, Schools State championships, representing Wamuran State School, Caboolture District and Sunshine Coast Region.

Brooke placed 3rd in High Jump. Jumping 1.29m with the scissors technique.
She's qualified for the Nationals in Melbourne, which will be held in December. Wait til this kid does Fosbury..

We are all very very proud of Brookes success and cant wait to see her thrive in her future of Athletics

Final Call!!! Nominations Close Tonight!!!

If your athlete is interested in Competing at this seasons Summer Carnival in Brisbane on October 24th, please register by Tonight at 11:59pm. Registrations are via Sports80 - Competitions.

We have a few athletes already registered and would love as many as we can.

Nominations close Monday 12 October for the Coles Summer Carnival – Series One, happening on Saturday 24 October.

Open to U9–U17 athletes, this event is all about fun, friendship and great experiences! Athletes of all abilities can enjoy a day of competition while proudly representing their Club.

TRAIN. LEARN. GROW.

Introducing our U11 & U12 Transitional Events Series — a brand-new athlete development opportunity designed to help young athletes build confidence and technique in three key transitional events: Triple Jump I Javelin I High Jump (Flop)

Led by experienced coaches, each session will focus on teaching the fundamentals and correct techniques athletes need as they progress through Little Athletics.

Athletes will choose two events to train in on the day, with 45 minutes of dedicated coaching in each event. Choose 2 activities for $30!

Brisbane - City North Little Athletics - Sunday 13 September | 8:30am–11:00am

Gold Coast – Runaway Bay Little Athletics Sunday 27 September | 8:30am–11:00am

Sunshine Coast – Caloundra Little Athletics - Sunday 4 October | 8:30am–11:00am

Each athlete will also take home an information pack covering all three transitional events, packed with handy tips to continue developing their skills. Open to U11 & U12 athletes registered with any Little Athletics Centre in Queensland, as well as athletes currently trialing with the intention of registering for the season.

Places are limited, with event selections available on a first-in basis. Build the skills now. Take them into the season with confidence.
