A mountain running challenge set amidst the picturesque valley of Wandiligong. Summiting the high points of both Mystic mountain and Goldmine Ridge, this challenge requires participants to use a combination of endurance, strength and cross-trail abilities to ascend and descend across steep, raw, natural and technical ground.

'Wandi', a little known rustic mountain town set on the outskirts of Bright has a rich history from Gold-mining to apple farming, from Pine plantations to chestnut orchards. Unknown to many it also holds the training grounds for two of Australia's top Skyrunners and obstacle course racers - Matt Cooper and Matt Murphy. The Wandi Cross is mountain running in its purist form. You will be taken out of your comfort zone, both in the terrain you'll encounter and the way you'll do it. Four distances are available:
27 kilometres (2425 m +/-)
14 kilometres (1147 m +/-)
5 kilometres (500 m +/-)
Kids Run 2 km (60 m +/-)

We will take care of everything else - electronic timing, aid stations, course marking, cuddles at the finish line! We encourage you to embrace the purist nature of the Wandi Cross and take on the event in a minimalist fashion.....You and the mountain! All profits are donated to Wandiligong Primary School.
