🏹🎯🏆The results for the Howell Gray Founders Cup are in!
🥇Congratulations to Eric who is on a roll and came in first place with a handicapped score of 941! Well done!🥈Second place went to Nathan (926) and 🥉third to Rob (912) - narrowly beating Lorraine, also 912, on number of X's. Lorraine was luckier with the Secret Score, getting closest to the randomly generated number.
🌭Huge thanks to Sofia for doing an amazing job on the BBQ and to everyone else who helped make it a great day!

🏹 🎯 Tomorrow is the 2026 Howell Gray Founders Cup - who will take home the trophies this year? 🤔
All archers will shoot a Melbourne or Geelong round with the best handicapped scores winning the silverware. A BBQ lunch will be provided afterwards. 🌭

🥇🥉 Huge congratulations particularly to Eric who placed 1st in Victoria and 3rd Nationally in Under 18 Male Recurve! Well done, we are all very proud of your achievement!

🏹 Also great work from Michelle in 50+ Female Compound for placing 4th in Victoria and 10th Nationally, Rob in Open Male Recurve, 6th in Victoria and 22nd Nationally and Lorraine in Open Female Recurve, 8th in Victoria and 35th Nationally.

🏹🎯🏹Sunday 16th August sounds like a perfect day to come and try target archery at our next Have a Go with a Bow session!

Bring the whole family as kids (age 7+), adults and grandparents can all join in together. Appropriate equipment is supplied and our dedicated coaches will show you how to hit the gold!

Twenty years ago, three archers saw an opportunity to take the National Indoor Championships from a small single venue comp of just 100 people, to have venues in every state on the same weekend, with live scores shared between them.

Marcus Anear, Clare Barnes and James Park got it off the ground in 2006: entries jumped straight to over 600.
Twenty years on and it's still growing with over 960 entries in 2026. ✨
