A fresh season is just around the corner and our courts are ready for new faces, familiar smiles and plenty of great rallies. Whether you’re here to compete, improve or simply enjoy a hit with friends, this is your moment to jump in.

And keep an eye out — more info is coming soon about our Thursday Social Twilight, the perfect way to unwind, play and connect as the sun goes down.

We will be holding our Junior Open Day on Saturday 3rd October from 9am.
If your kids have been wanting to give tennis a try this is the perfect chance for them to give it a go.
Club Coach, Greg Duns, will be running coaching clinics throughout the morning.
Any juniors looking to play competition this is a good chance to come and meet our Junior Co-Ordinator's and other players. There is no commitment to play every week in our Junior Competition, but the more you play the more points you earn towards the end of season awards.
**Competition will commence the following weekend on Saturday 11th October.

Community spirit is alive and well at the Wangaratta Lawn Tennis Croquet & Pickleball Club.
Recent flooding put our courts and equipment under real threat, but our local community rallied around us without hesitation. A huge thank you to Quality Hotel Wangaratta Gateway and Wangaratta Bowls Club for giving our mowers a safe home while we waited for the water to recede, and to Wangaratta Equipment Hire for their generous assistance.
Challenges come and go — it’s the people around us that make all the difference. Proud to be part of this community.

Saturday 4 July 2026
After significant rain this week the water level has risen within a meter of the top of the levee bank. However, the ongoing seepage through the levee bank sees flooding within the park. The basement courts have been compromised.

Tennis is still playable on the middle bank, however, note that the road into the park was closed at 11:15 this morning.

The TROPHY. A great effort by the team in organising the catering, merchandise, sponsorship, courts and scheduling. We had a record number of 470+ players to cap it off. Our major sponsor, Dal Zotto Wines, had their spritz tent running across all days which added to the buzz of the tournament.

Last night we were awarded the Winner of Tennis Victoria community tennis awards Most Outstanding Tournament for our 100 year Australia Day Tournament.

Events like these don’t just happen and it is a testament to our Club and its volunteers for all their hard work in putting this event together.
