LADIES TRIPLES RESULTS:

What a cracker of a game on display today with the Final of the Ladies Triples being played.
Results were:
Cathy, Sue R and Margaret were narrowly defeated by Lee, Kerry and Jenny.

Well done to all our girls on a great show of skill, sportsmanship and friendship.

Great afternoon at the club today was a touch warm until a slight sea breeze came in. 7 rinks in play fifth the following results:
WINNER FIRST $100 Kerry & Lee +17
WINNER 2nd $40 Shannon & Hannah
R/UP 1st $40 Steve R & Carol
R/UP 2nd $20 Brett & Sue
Most touchers 2nd game Tony & Col with 4 and split the $25 sponsored by Tony Jurd raising awareness for kidney disease.
Congratulations to the winners and thanks so much to all the players for a very pleasant afternoon.
Thanks to Margaret for the post game feed and George for setting up for us.
Hopefully see a good crowd tomorrow for round one of the mixed Triples from 1245pm.

SUNDAY 1245 Mixed triples round 1

NOTE
Due to a function and barefoot bowls we will be limited to a maximum 9 rinks for Saturday gala so please get your names/ teams in this arvo so I can organise in a timely fashion.

Despite the cool snap, around 40 bowlers enjoyed another great morning of bowls, friendship and fun this morning.
Lots of cheering, laughter and music provided a great atmosphere at our Club for our Thursday bowlers.
Thanks to Kev for the tunes and to Mick for setting up.
Next Thursday is our end of month lunch. The theme this month is “Come As You Are”.

TODAY AT THE CLUB
Well what a blustery afternoon it was with strong southerly wind for the 3x3s and our gala.
Our three threes side played well against Teralba for the last game unfortunately going down on the last end by 3 shots. Well done and thanks to all the players who competed during the competition it is valuable experience playing away at other clubs which is a must for improving our teams experience.

5 rinks of Triples today again in crazy conditions but an enjoyable afternoon nonetheless.
