Update - Wanneroo Tennis Club Upgrade Project

Works are continuing to progress well at Wanneroo Tennis Club as part of our major court upgrade project. As you can see from the latest photos, the old playing surfaces and coverings have now been fully removed, with materials stockpiled and ready for disposal. Heavy machinery is on site, and preparation works are well underway across all courts.

The site is really starting to open up, giving a clear sense of the scale of the project and the improvements to come.

We appreciate everyone’s patience while these works are underway and look forward to sharing further progress as the project continues to take shape

Exciting Things Are Happening at Wanneroo Tennis Club

Our major court resurfacing project is officially underway. Over the coming months, works will be happening to deliver brand new courts, along with upgraded lighting and fencing, setting the Club up for the future.

We know this period is a bit disruptive, but the end result will be well worth it, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back later this year.

We’d like to take a moment to sincerely thank the City of Wanneroo for their continued support and investment in our Club, as well as Ocean Ridge Tennis Club and Kingsley Tennis Club for welcoming our members into their social tennis sessions during this time.

A special thank you also to Greenwood Tennis Club for allowing our Pennant teams to use two of their courts if needed. We are however hoping to secure four courts at Kingsley Tennis Club, so we can have both our teams at home together.

Thanks to Wanneroo Senior High School for generously providing access to their courts for our junior members while works are underway.

We are incredibly grateful for the support shown not only from our local tennis community, but the community as a whole. Stay tuned — we’ll continue to share progress updates as the project moves along!
