MILESTONE
Steve Chettle - 7000 runs.

Milestone number 1 ticked off for the great man early in the season with Chetty making 36* for the 7th XI over the weekend.

There is not much more we can say about our GOAT that hasn't already been said, our most capped Saint is in for a massive year with some more milestones yet to tick off.

Chetty celebrates his 7000 run milestone with an average of 21.21, 28 x 50s, 2 x 100s with a best of 148 where he sits comfortably at #7 for most runs in the clubs history with the top 5 in his sights.

You're an absolute legend Chetty, here's to another 7000 runs before you hang them up.

It is with great sadness and extremely heavy hearts that we share the passing of Rodney 'Wacka' Paisley.

Wacka was no stranger to anyone down at Manson Reserve, you would of heard him, copped intense 'constructive' criticism from him, but most importantly you would of felt the love that Wacka had for everyone involved at STA.

Wacka spent every single weekend over the best part of 30 years watching Dwayne play and in recent years, coming down in the early hours of Sunday mornings, home or away, to watch Isabel play in our girls program, something Wacka loved so very much.

Wacka and Heather both recieved our Best Club Person award in the 2002-03 season, a credit to their massive ongoing support of our club over a long period of time.

We are going to miss hearing that our beers aren't cold enough or our hot food isn't hot enough, we will miss the lengthy chats about onfield performances and what we all could of done better to live up to Wacka's standard, but most importantly we are going to miss seeing Wacka at the club every single function and match day.

We pass on our condolences to Heather, Dwayne, Jason, Michelle, Isabel, Nathan, Maddie and the whole Paisley family at this time, we love you Wacka, you will be incredibly missed 💙💙

MILESTONES

Lachy Muir - 100 games
Nathan Larkins - 50 games
Jay Kodithuwakku - 50 games

Congratulations to Lachy, Nathan and Jay who this coming round will play their milestone games.

Lachy had forged himself as a key pillar in the 1st XI bowling rotation over the last 4/5 years, capable of a game breaking wicket.

Our 3rd XI skipper, Nathan has been a key member in the 2nd and 3rd XI since he joined the club and can change the game with either bat or ball.

Jay has proved himself as a top order bat in our lower grades since he joined us and is a much loved team mate for those who are lucky to share the field with him.

Congratulations and go well this week fellas!
