It’s easy to get caught up in the score, but slowing things down like this a good reminder of what we love about Monday nights. It’s the friendly competition, encouraging each other and keeping Christ at the centre of it all.

Thanks to everyone who keeps showing up and making VCBA what it is. See you all on court! 🏀

CHRIST FIRST 🙏

As cliché as it sounds, it is always a good reminder that things matter more than what’s on the scoreboard. Showing up for each other, encouraging teammates, enjoying the game and trusting God through every challenge are higher values to us than team stats at the end of the day. That’s what Monday nights at VCBA are all about.

"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Philippians 4:13 🙏
We'd encourage you to jump over to a bible app right now and read this verse in context, because the context is just as exciting and important as the encouragement of the verse itself.

(If you've read this whole caption, chuck a bible emoji 📖 in the comments to push this post to encourage others to get into the word too!)

🤩FAVOURITE MOMENTS CAPTURED🎉

VCBA is all about a good game of basketball through friendly competition... Sometimes that leads to a couple of great moments captured on the court (which we enjoy very much reviewing afterwards!)

So you can see the fun we have on court every Monday, here are a few of those recent moments we managed to catch.
