After a very wet and hard-fought match, our Women’s Vic League 2 team have unfortunately ended their finals campaign with a 2–0 loss to Werribee.
It was an incredible game, with some amazing moments and plenty of determination from the girls. Unfortunately, two unlucky goals proved just too much to come back from.
The girls should be incredibly proud of the season they’ve had, finishing as Minor Premiers and showing immense determination and fight every single week.
While the result wasn’t what we hoped for, this team has given us so much to be proud of.
We can’t wait to see what the 2027 season brings for this incredible group. Bring it on! ❤️💛💚

After a tense shootout last week, the team weren’t leaving anything to chance this week, securing a commanding 2–1 victory over Frankston.

Finals Week 1 Wrap Up🏆
What a massive weekend, with 5 of our 6 finals played on home turf!
Friday night saw our Under 16s Mixed triumph over KBH with a 3–1 victory, securing their spot in the Grand Final!
Saturday morning, our Under 12 Mixed took on Mentone. After a very stressful shootout, they walked away on top and booked their place straight into the Grand Final next week!
Our Women’s Vic League 2 Reserves took on Dandenong but unfortunately weren’t able to secure the win. It’s been an absolutely amazing season from this team, and we can’t wait to see what the 2027 season brings for them.
Sunday brought back-to-back home games, with our Women’s Vic League 2 squad taking on Dandenong and Men’s Metro 1 East facing Maccabi. Unfortunately, neither side was able to walk away with the W this time around.
The Women’s Vic League 2 squad will have another chance to earn their spot in the Grand Final when they go up against Werribee this weekend.
Last night, our Masters 40+C walked into their match against Monash Uni as the minor premiers and they certainly showed us why! Plenty of incredible goals secured the men a spot in the big dance!
