New top mount bottle cage bracket for Trinity time trial / triathlon bike. The mount fits neatly onto the stem using the pre existing bolt holes and can be customised to the height of your arm pads to maximise air flow and reduce drag. The bracket will work with all extension bars if there’s a gap wide enough to fit a water bottle.
While I haven’t done any aero testing with them, alternate rider data would suggest it is likely to decrease drag.
Kit will include all bolts for mounting to the stem and bottle cage.
DM for pre-sale enquiries and discount.

Been busy making rear storage boxes for the Trinity time trial bikes the past few weeks. After running out of stock, will have more available by the middle of the week just in time for 70.3 Sunshine Coast. Boxes will fit a CO2 canister, tube and levers, or alternatively could put gels in it
Our emails have been down for the past few days but have only just become aware of the issue. Please resend any emails sent since Friday. Thanks

Unless you've been living under a rock 😉 you've no doubt heard about how almost every pro triathlete and cyclist has been using lactate testing the past few years to help them improve their performance. There's good reason as to why they've been doing this too!
With >13 years experience performing lactate tests on everyone from World Tour team cyclists, World champion triathletes, World record holder swimmers and national champion runners through to age groupers and even the casual exercise enthusiast, everyone can benefit from lactate testing.
From an Intune Sports lactate test, you (and/or your coach) won't only receive detailed training zones, but also insight and advice into what training zone distribution you'll currently benefit the best from based on your current goals. This could include info on whether you need to spend more time developing your aerobic base or whether it's time to sprinkle in some higher intensity efforts.
So if you or you're coach have become interested in your physiology and training performance, give us a call to book in a testing session.

We look forward to having a bigger and brighter 2023 with even greater performances and results whether it's winning races, overcoming pain or just moving awesomely 😉
Please note we'll be on break from December 23rd to January 3rd. I'll try and reply to all messages as soon as I return.
Happy 2022. Brodes

Lactate for Endurance Training: What is it? What is lactate physiology, and what is its role in training? We get into some in-depth physiology, and discuss the where it comes from, what we are measuring, and how it can be used in endurance training.

I've always been a fan of keeping exercise programs simpler rather than complex and unattainable. Here's a prime example of how a simple single exercise a few times a week can prevent or offset surgery
Knee-extensor strength, symptoms, and need for surgery after two, four, or six exercise sessions/week using a home-based one-exercise program: a randomized dose–response trial of knee-extensor resistance exercise in patients eligible for knee... To investigate firstly the efficacy of three different dosages of one home-based, knee-extensor resistance exercise on knee-extensor strength in patients eligible for knee replacement, and secondly, the influence of exercise on symptoms, physical function and decision on surgery.

Awesome weekend for some Intune athletes at the Sunshine Coast Marathon.
Libby Kerr had a fantastic marathon to cross the line in 3:48:58. Considering she only started running 3-4 months ago and this was just a practice hit-out ahead of Canberra marathon next year, it's a phenomenal effort and can't wait to see what the next six month entails.
Martin Ashmore did a 2min PB in the half-marathon finishing in 1:23:43. A great effort after being side tracked for the majority of past few months and shows that he's got plenty of room for improvement heading forward with a good training block.
Andrew Walker had a training run out on course and completed the half in 2:07:21. This was Andrew's first long run after some injuries and hopefully puts him in the right direction to finish his 5th Blackall 100 in October.
Well done to all other athletes out on course as well
