Gwydir Shire Council is seeking energetic team members to join the team as Kiosk Attendants at both Bingara and Warialda swimming pools.

The role will include the following along with other duties in the position description:
- Serving customers, handling enquiries
- Managing transactions and operating the point-of-sale system
- Preparing and serving food and drinks, while maintaining hygiene standards.

These are casual positions, and staff may be called upon at short notice to help cover staff leave and unexpected absences.

G'day everyone, Happy Easter !

Today is our last day we are open for this season. 11am - 4pm

Come and enjoy one last swim at the Warialda pool, temp this morning is 26 degrees it will get up to 28 degrees, beautiful day with a nice breeze.

From Kimberley and Myself, we would like to say a massive thankyou to all our staff and anyone who pitched in at any point to help us through the this season, again Thankyou !

Welcome to the Easter long weekend, looks like some fabulous weather.

We are open 11am - 6pm.

Pool temp is currently 26 degrees to start today, should get to 28 by mid afternoon, absolutely 👌

Come and make use of the free asset for Gwydir shire residents.

G'day all, Happy Wednesday.

Warialda hot pools are now open Pool temp 38 degrees 😉😁 or is it just the 1st of April.

But seriously the pool is 26 degrees which is a great start to the day, should get to 28 degrees today.

Platform and Co are back today and tomorrow for Swimming lessons starting at 3:30pm only a small group so plenty of space for everyone.

With only day's left make the most of it.

Covers are off and clear skies so far. 🌞

Pool temp 25 degrees to start the day.

Swimming lessons this afternoon with Platform and Co from 3:30pm still plenty of room, so come on down and enjoy a swim.

We are in the last week of opening, we are trying to keep some temp in the pool, with the use of the covers and solar heating.

G'day all,

Hope you're enjoying this cracking Saturday,
Bit of a chill in the slight breeze.

Pool temp is 25 degrees,
We have the solar heaters in full swing and using the pool covers, helping keep the temp in with a couple of cold nights.

We have a week to go so make use if you get the chance. Plenty of room for a picnic or a sun-bake on this fine Saturday.

Pool temp at the moment is 26 degrees.
Another nice day, looking like a cool change coming through from tomorrow.

Warialda Amateur Swimming Club Inc presentation was last night. Would like to congratulate all the swimmers on a great season ! the clubs committee and all the Mums and Dads who help make it happen.
Was great to see the kid's progress and get stronger throughout the season, with some of the kids making it to the state carnival for their Schools at the end of April. We wish them all the best when the time comes.

Swimming club is a great summer sport for the kids fun, fitness and social, so don't hesitate to introduce your kids to swimming club next season.

G'day G'day to a fine Wednesday 🌞🌞

Pool temp this morning is 25 degrees.

Squad this afternoon 3:30 - 4:30pm

Swimming club presentation starting at 5:30pm.

St Joseph's school are not in today.

The mighty lap swimmer Kevie Bell, clocked up his 6000th lap on Monday for the season so far, and currently in the pool adding to the number. What an effort Kev, his asked me to put this out for a challenge for the next season. But I think he will take some beating.
