🦢 MEET THE SWANNY – TYLER "ESKY" ERSKINE 💜💛

Tyler has been a Swanny for 5 years, and in that time he’s become a much-loved part of the club. A genuinely kind, friendly bloke who loves his cricket and, more importantly, loves the people he shares it with.

On the field, Tyler brings plenty of aggression with the ball. Short, sharp and aggressive bowling is his trademark — definitely not the bloke you want peppering you with a new ball! 😂🏏. He also may be the quickest outfielder in the world!!!! DO NOT TAKE ON HIS ARM 🚀💥‼

But away from the cricket, Tyler is exactly what being a Swanny is about. He’s always got time for everyone, always up for a chat and brings that positive Swans spirit wherever he goes.
And Tyler has certainly put the “Swanny” in worldwide! 🌎✈️

Having travelled across the globe, he’s made sure the purple and gold have travelled with him — proudly taking the Swannys shirt and spirit wherever his adventures have taken him.

Five years in, and Tyler continues to represent everything we love about this club — kindness, mateship, cricket and Swannys spirit.

🦢 MEET THE SWANNY – “GUMBALL” AIDEN BENSON 🦢

We shine the spotlight on one of the good guys of the Warnbro Swans — Aiden “Gumball” Benson! 💜💛

Gumball joined the Swans after making the move up from the mighty Denmark Magpies Cricket Club — a big shoutout to the Magpies for helping shape the player and person he is today! 🏏🥧 🖤

Now in his 6th season as a Swanny, Gumball has brought his kind, caring and nurturing nature with him, making him a valued member of our Swans family both on and off the field.
On the field, Gumball has represented the club at A Grade level and has also achieved the fantastic feat of taking a 7-wicket haul (7FA)! 🔥🏏

Off the field, he continues to give back to the club and is currently our Club Treasurer, playing an important role in keeping the Swans ticking behind the scenes.
Six years in, and Gumball is well and truly a Swanny through and through! 🦢💜💛

🦢 MEET THE SWANNY – DAVE COWAN 💜💛
If you were looking for the definition of Swannys Spirit, you wouldn’t have to look much further than Dave Cowan.

Dave isn’t just a member of the Warnbro Swans — he is one of the people who has helped build the club into what it is today. So much so that our clubman of the year award is named after his family!!!

Over the years, Dave has worn just about every hat there is to wear at the Swans. He has served as President multiple times, Vice President multiple times, Secretary, and held countless other committee positions. He has also been Chairman of Selectors, Head Coach, and has dedicated countless hours to guiding and developing our juniors.
And Dave’s contribution to the Swans doesn’t stop with his own involvement.

He has brought his family through the club, with his four sons Mitch and Alex, both Life Members, along with Lachlan and Hayden, who is our current Junior President. And now the next generation is proudly wearing the purple and gold, with his grandson Xavier playing both juniors and seniors.

That is what the Swans is all about — family, loyalty, commitment and giving back.
Dave has been there through the highs, the lows, the rebuilds, the premierships and everything in between. He has given countless hours to the club, often behind the scenes, simply because he wants to see the Swans succeed.

For generations of players and families, Dave has been a coach, selector, committee member, mentor, supporter and friend.
He truly is the backbone of the Warnbro Swans Cricket Club.

🏏 Jani “Big Fin” Metsola 🏏
When you talk about what it means to be a Swanny, Jani “Big Fin” Metsola is right up there with the best of them.

Jani has been part of the Swans for over 3 decades, building an incredible cricketing legacy along the way. With countless records, achievements and memories to his name, his contribution to the club goes far beyond what can be written on a scorecard.

Jani has also put plenty of time into the club off the field, serving on the committee on numerous occasions and always doing his bit to help make the Swans a better place.
He also had the honour of coaching our inaugural A Grade Premiership team, playing a huge part in one of the proudest moments in our club’s history. 🏆
But while Jani might be a big unit, anyone who knows him knows that its his heart that is twice the size. ❤️💛💜

He’s one of the most loving, genuine and loyal people you could meet, and someone who has given an enormous amount to the Warnbro Swans Cricket Club over the years.
Three decades. Countless achievements. One massive Swanny heart. 🦢💜💛

A massive well done to everyone who got along to our pre-season training at Evolution Cricket last night! 👏

It was great to see such a strong turnout, plenty of energy and, most importantly, everyone getting stuck in and putting in the work ahead of the season.
The hard work starts now! 💪🏏

A big thank you to everyone who made the effort to come along and get involved. Nights like this are what build a strong club, both on and off the field.
