Our swimmers are proud participants in Swimming Australia’s Pho3nix Junior Excellence (JX) Program. This national program recognises the performances of swimmers aged 9–13, helping to encourage and inspire the next generation of competitive athletes within our club.
Delivered across every state and territory, the program connects young swimmers with elite pathways and role models. Throughout the season, our swimmers work hard to achieve Blue, Bronze, Silver and Gold standards based on their race performances. Well done to everyone!

What a week for our Stingrays at the Masters Swimming Australia National Championships in Queensland.
While medals are always exciting, one of the biggest highlights from Nationals was the incredible progress shown across our squad personal bests, breakthroughs, state records, team spirit and swimmers stepping outside their comfort zones to see what they’re truly capable of.
As a club, we’re proud not only of the results, but of the commitment, consistency and support shown throughout the entire meet. The atmosphere on pool deck was something special and the experience has only made our team stronger heading into another big summer season.
⭐ Nationals Highlights ⭐
Darrin – 16 events | 7 PBs | 1 medal
Lyle – 10 events | 8 medals
Ingrid – 18 events | 12 medals | 11 PBs | multiple State Records
Ian – 13 events | 10 PBs | 1 medal
Tanya – 16 events | 11 medals | 4 PBs
Shannon – 19 events | 11 PBs | 3 medals
And from Bridget’s daytime squad:
Erica – 7 events | 3 medals | 2 PBs
Keith – 9 events | 9 PBs | 1 medal
A massive congratulations also to our Women’s 4x50 Freestyle Relay team who broke the State Record, taking almost 2 seconds off the previous mark held by Claremont.
And a very special mention to Dana.
While supporting and guiding our swimmers throughout the meet, Dana was also competing as part of the ADF team she has spent many months building and coordinating. Between coaching, team management, ultramarathon training and life in general, her dedication is incredible. Dana looked exceptionally strong in the water all week and her results reflected the enormous work she has put in behind the scenes.
Nationals reminded us exactly what Masters swimming is about challenging yourself, backing your teammates, celebrating progress and having fun along the way.
As winter approaches and motivation can dip, there’s never been a better time to jump in and see what you’re capable of. Whether you’re chasing PBs, fitness, friendships or just wanting to be part of an amazing club culture we’d love to have you on pool deck with us.
Bring on Nationals in Perth 2027.
