June is Men’s Mental Health Awareness month, so let’s take a moment away from the footy content to acknowledge the statistics and remind ourselves it’s okay not to be okay.

- Two in five men will experience a mental health disorder in their lifetime.
- Men account for three out of four suicides.
- Only about 37% of men and boys reach out for support when they need it

Based off those statistics, 5 of your team mates could be experiencing a mental health disorder and only 2 of them will reach out for support.

When you see your mates, remember to check in and see how they’re going. If you’re silently fighting your own battle, remember there are resources available 24/7 via phone call or message, & you’ve got a whole club here to listen and help you through the hard times.

Talk about it, support each other and let’s as a club break the stigma! 💜💛
